Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking Learning Support Assistants to work across primary schools in Brentwood and the surrounding areas. You will support pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis, helping them engage with activities and progress in a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide additional support and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning on a one-to-one or small-group basis
• Helping children engage with classroom activities
• Supporting pupils with their social, emotional and educational development
• Working alongside the class teacher to meet individual learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
• Providing support during lessons, break times and other school activities
• Helping create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
