Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant dedicated to helping young children reach their potential within a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting young or vulnerable individuals in a professional capacity.

Newly qualified Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants are encouraged to apply.

Details:

• Location: Batley
• Position: Learning Support Assistant
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: Long-Term
• Type: Contract
• Work Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (term time only)
• Pay Rate: Minimum £75 per day

Responsibilities:

1. Support and scaffold work with children in the classroom.
2. Assist teachers with resource preparation based on class feedback.
3. Collaborate effectively with professionals and parents/carers.
4. Adapt professional practices to meet the varied needs of children.
5. Manage behaviour using the school's behaviour policy.
6. Provide 1:1 and group support to children.
7. Assist with delivering the EYFS/Primary curriculum.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• At least Level 2 qualified.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
• Two professional child-related references.
