Job description

Cambridge Regional College has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Resources Advisor to join our Student Services Department at the Cambridge Campus. This is a full-time (37 hours), term-time position (40 weeks). The salary ranges from £21,913 to £23,618 per annum (equivalent to a full-year salary of £24,107 to £25,983), plus staff benefits. About the role: You will support in providing an efficient, user-focused Learning Resource Service, assisting students and apprentices in developing research and study skills, and creating engaging resources using media tools like Canva. You will also promote enrichment activities for students.

Candidate requirements:

• Passionate and dedicated attitude
• Computer literacy, including digital content creation
• Excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Empathy and effective communication skills with diverse learners
• Knowledge of copyright, data protection, health and safety, and relevant legislation
• Experience with digital communication tools (e.g., Teams)
• Experience designing digital content (e.g., Canva)
• Good administrative skills and IT proficiency
• Flexibility to work across campuses and participate in out-of-hours events
• Knowledge of FE library systems
• GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent
• Experience in a learning centre, library, or educational environment
