Job summary

The Royal British Legion’s Teaching Remembrance Learning Programme seeks a Learning Programme Officer to blend education, content and project delivery. You’ll develop resources for teachers, schools and youth groups, and shape ideas with the Learning Programme Manager, commissioning content and guiding projects from brief to finished product.

You’ll ensure a strong digital presence, manage the teaching resource library, produce newsletters and promotional content, and support learning events

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of the UK education system and what schools and young people need from educational content.
• Strong organisation and project-management skills to turn ideas into workable outputs.
• Ability to build relationships with teachers, schools, youth groups and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and curate educational resources for teachers, schools and youth groups.
• Collaborate with the Learning Programme Manager to shape ideas and commission content.
• Take projects from initial brief to finished product, owning defined workstreams.
• Manage the programme’s digital resource library and oversee newsletters and promotional content.
• Contribute to learning events and activities with internal and external partners.
• Monitor budgets and expenditure to keep projects on track.
