Job summary

Royal British Legion seeks a Learning Programme Officer to unite education, content and project delivery for the Teaching Remembrance programme. You will shape ideas, research audiences, commission content, and take projects from brief to finished product while managing budgets and promoting a strong digital presence.

You will work with teachers, young people and partners, writing clearly and moving between creative thinking and practical delivery in a busy programme.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of the UK education system and what schools and young people need from educational content.
• Strong organisation and project management skills to turn ideas into practical delivery.
• Ability to build relationships with teachers, young people, suppliers and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop resources for teachers, schools and youth groups to explore Remembrance.
• Manage and develop the Teaching Remembrance digital resource library.
• Produce newsletters and promotional content and assess resource performance.
• Deliver learning events, presentations and activities with external partners.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenditure and keep projects moving.
