Job summary

Randstad Staffing is seeking a dedicated Learning and Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant to help young people with SEMH, Autism and ADHD thrive in a structured environment. The role offers term-time hours from 8:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with holidays off.

You will support students in focused class settings, apply trauma-informed practices, assist with EHCP/IEP plans, and help track progress while fostering a safe, supportive classroom.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/5 or Level 2 equivalent.
• Proven experience supporting SEND or SEMH needs.
• 3 to 6 months of experience in an educational setting working with challenging behaviours.
• A proactive, dedicated attitude and a genuine commitment to student welfare.
• Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship).
• Willingness to complete a full enhanced DBS check.

The Details

What You Will Be Doing
