Learning Mentor

Position: Immediate openings in Primary Schools and Tuition Centres

Location: Swindon

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning Mentor for Children with Additional Needs. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the educational and personal development of children who require extra assistance due to various learning challenges. If you have a heart for helping children reach their full potential and thrive in an inclusive environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualised academic support tailored to the specific needs of each child.
  2. Assist children in understanding concepts, completing assignments, and developing effective study skills.
  3. Offer emotional support, creating a safe space for children to express themselves and build confidence.
  4. Set achievable goals and milestones with children, tracking progress and celebrating successes.
  5. Advocate for the rights and needs of children with additional needs within the educational system.
  6. Liaise with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to support.
  7. Empower children to become more independent learners and develop essential life skills.

Position Details:

  • Role: Learning Mentor

  • Salary: 85 - 95 per day
  • Hours: Full-Time and Part Time contracts available
