Job description

Join Our Growing School Team

Are you pupil/student focused and committed to making a difference? If so, we are the school for the next stage of your career.

We are seeking to recruit a part-time or full-time Learning Mentor to support creating a learning environment that encourages the best possible progress and attainment for all pupils/students.

Positions are available at our Maidstone and Medway college sites, with a salary of Kent Range 4 plus a Special Needs Allowance. A full job description and person specification are attached.

About Grange Park School:

  • An autism-specific provision for children aged 11 to 19.
  • Based in Maidstone and Medway, working with 16+ learners as part of college collaborations.
  • Currently rated as “good” by Ofsted, with ambitions to become outstanding.

We are committed to providing exceptional learning opportunities and supporting our pupils' development. Grange Park is part of KSENT, a collaboration of 26 special schools in Kent, including the Collaborative Learning Alliance (CLASS), offering training, shared practices, and career progression opportunities.

The school offers comprehensive autism training, exceptional CPD support, and development opportunities through our Co-operative Trust of SEN schools.
