Job description

Company Description
MM Mentoring employs trauma-informed care to build positive relationships with young people, providing them with a safe space to express themselves and build confidence. Our mentors offer unique support through education, personal therapy, life skills development, and community activities. We focus on one-to-one support and group sessions to encourage broader development in varied learning environments, such as our Learning Hub in Linden, Gloucester, schools, the local community, and family homes. By collaborating with schools, local authorities, and social services, we aim to achieve positive outcomes through mentoring strategies such as exclusion prevention, 1-to-1 mentoring, animal therapy, and sports coaching.

Role Description
Full time and Part time roles available. The Learning Mentor will support children and young people by developing and delivering tailored programs designed to improve their educational outcomes, life skills, and emotional well-being. Day-to-day tasks include conducting one-on-one and group mentoring sessions, developing individual support plans, coordinating with schools and local authorities, and facilitating various community and recreational activities.
