CLPT is seeking staff to support pupils under teaching staff guidance, providing targeted help to individuals or small groups and tracking progress to inform learning plans.
The role involves one-to-one support, family communication, and assisting with interventions such as home visits. Safeguarding, DBS checks, and eligibility to work in the UK are required, with adherence to school policies and safeguarding standards.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with CLPT's Safeguarding Policy and the document 'Keeping Children Safe in Education', all staff have a duty of care to safeguard the health and safety and well being of all students on school premises and when engaged in authorised school activities elsewhere. Staff are inducted to follow policy and procedures to report any safeguarding concerns.
CLPT is required under law and guidance to check the criminalbackground of all employees. Decisions to appoint will be subject toconsideration of an enhanced disclosure, including a Barred List check, fromthe Disclosure and Barring Service. Because of the nature of the work for whichyou are applying, this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 and 2020).
