Are you a learning mentor, passionate about working with children and young people with additional needs?
This fantastic school is an independent special needs school for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. All school staff, including teaching, pastoral, and therapy, work in a collaborative way. The school works hard to ensure students develop emotionally and personally, as well as academically. Students have needs including ADHD, ASD, Asperger’s, or SEMH. This is an independent school for children aged 6 to 16 years old. This school has a beautiful working environment with the very best facilities.
This school is seeking a learning mentor to join and work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will be required to help them learn, develop their abilities, and raise their self-esteem. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but those small victories that you achieve will be something you’re really proud of. You will receive on-the-job training including opportunities for CPD. All staff receive full school holidays. You must hold Qualified Teacher Status. Experience working in a SEN is not essential.
