Learning Mentor – Newcastle

Salary: £100–£120 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2025

We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a vibrant secondary school in Newcastle. You’ll work closely with pupils who need a little extra guidance—whether it’s building confidence, improving focus, or navigating personal challenges.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group mentoring

  • Supporting behaviour, attendance, and engagement

  • Working with teachers, pastoral leads, and parents to create supportive plans

  • Being a calm, consistent presence in the lives of pupils who really need it

You’ll be great if you have:

  • Experience working with young people (in schools, youth work, or similar)

  • A calm, empathetic approach

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • A genuine belief in second chances and positive change

Ideal for grads in: Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Education, Youth Work
