Empower Students to Thrive
We're working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Uxbridge that is looking for a Learning Mentor to support student engagement, attendance, and well-being. The successful candidate will work closely with students who may be facing challenges in their learning or personal life, helping them to overcome barriers and succeed.


The Role
  1. Build strong relationships with students to support behaviour, attendance, and emotional well-being
  2. Deliver targeted mentoring sessions, both one-to-one and in small groups
  3. Work closely with the pastoral team, SENCO, and teaching staff to monitor progress and coordinate support
  4. Support students in building resilience, confidence, and academic motivation
Requirements
  1. Experience working with young people in an educational or support capacity
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, supportive approach
  3. Ability to remain positive and solution-focused when dealing with challenges
  4. A background in youth work, education, or counselling is desirable
