Job summary

Remedy Education is assisting a provision in Redbridge seeking a Learning Mentor to support SEMH/Autism students. The role focuses on maintaining calm and positive behaviour while building relationships to enable learning.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, across the full academic year. Team Teach/Restraint training is desirable but not essential, and travel to East London may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong behaviour management, confident and innovative.
• Available Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
• Can commit to the full academic year.
• Experience in SEN settings.
• Must be able to travel to East London.
• Team Teach/restraint training desirable.

The school:

I am currently working with a provision in Redbridge, the students who attend the school have SEMH/Autism. The school have a lovely team of staff who are very supportive of both staff and students. They are looking to expand their team and are looking for confident, innovative and an individual with strong behaviour management. Team Teach/Restraint training is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate must be:

• -Strong behaviour management, confident and innovative
• -Be available Monday Friday, 8:30am 3:30pm
• -Can commit to the full academic year
• -Previous experience working an SEN school or mainstream school supporting SEN students
• -Be able to travel to East London
• -Team Teach/Restraint trained (desirable not essential)
• -Daily rate: £90-£120 (dependent on experience)
