An educational organization in Tees Valley is seeking a Learning Manager (Maternity Cover) to support student success both academically and behaviorally. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, and applicants should hold a relevant teaching qualification. The position offers a salary between £27,441.53 and £28,353.69 with a comprehensive benefits package including training and flexible work policies.

Working Pattern: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only + 15 days.
Please note: while the maternity cover is due to begin in November, it is expected to run for up to 1 year, with support available to discuss other opportunities within one of our 8 Teesside based secondary schools following this contract.
Outwood Academy Ormesby can be found in the town of Middlesbrough in the north-east of England. Our goal is to continuously improve and become a leading academy in the region. As a Learning Manager you must have the ability to work with students and have a real interest in the issues faced by the students. You will monitor and support all students in the year group, both academically and behaviourally. You will work closely with the Inclusion Coordinator and the Leadership Team on improving student behaviour, attendance and outcomes. Day to day, you will work with students to help them to be the best they can be.
The successful candidate must be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met. The ability to work on your own initiative and be able to lead by example are essential. You will be required to deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner.
