Post: Learning Manager

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Range: SCP 16 – SCP 18 (£29,572 - £30,559 FTE, £27,467.70 - £28,384.02 pro rata salary)



Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Working Type: Full Time [37 hours / 41 weeks](48.299 paid weeks)

Base: Thorp Academy, Main Road, Ryton, Tyne & Wear, NE40 3AH



Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Thorp Academy are looking to recruit a committed and hard-working Learning Manager to join the DEEP Support team. The successful individual will monitor all students in their year group, both academically and with behavioural issues. They will attend pastoral support plan meetings when necessary and ensure students are safeguarded at all times.
