Purpose of Role

The Learning Hub, ISP's innovative professional learning platform, endeavours to revolutionise the way our educators engage with their professional development, offering a diverse catalogue of learning opportunities to cater to varied schedules and learning styles.
As the Learning Hub Manager, you will be the skilled orchestrator transforming stakeholder and organisational learning needs into compelling solutions ranging from self-paced e-learning courses to live facilitated experiences using the platform. You'll employ your expertise to understand the requirements and priorities of our subject matter experts, utilising the full potential of our cutting-edge online professional development platform.
Moreover, you will take charge of our Learning Experience Designers' valuable work, steering the direction and flow of our content pipeline through the short-term whilst continuously planning for the medium and long-term. Your role will be instrumental in curating learning resources that provide maximum value to our people and deliver impact to the organisation.

ISP Learning HubManager Key Responsibilities
- Prioritise the learning solution design pipeline and deployment to ensure that products are always aligned with organisational needs and support our core school improvement plans and initiatives.
- Plan for medium- to long-term deliverables and delegate effectively within a high-demand environment, whilst demonstrating the willingness and capability to support in a hands-on basis.
- Build, maintain and evolve productive stakeholder relationships cross-functionally throughout our global network, to support with the understanding of upcoming learning needs
- Lead the development and delivery of effective, engaging and impactful learning experiences that are compelling and scalable as ISP continues to evolve.
- Continually evaluate and quality assure all products designed and produced on the Learning Hub, owning the success criteria for all learning experience design to ensure it delivers the intended impact when measured against learning outcomes.
- Provide learning design leadership and expertise to the wider team, leading and developing a small team of Learning Experience Designers with a focus on improvement and innovation.
- Analyse and interpret data driven out of both Learning Hub engagement and other cross-functional sources to inform the continual improvement of service being delivered.
- Develop and maintain the procedural policies and frameworks involving the Learning Hub in order to deliver a consistent service through a sustainable and low-risk approach.
- Maintain and evolve ISP’s relationship with the LMS supplier, ensuring a strategic and smooth collaboration that enables Learning Hub to deliver and exceed agreed targets.
- Work remotely within the UK, with some travel required based on organisational need (e.g. annual learning conference, wider team events or meetings).
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in learning design, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles, pedagogy-based learning and teaching methods, and the learning cycle.
- Knowledge and understanding as to how learning should be designed to deliver impact, with associated mechanisms in place to measure levels of success.
- Has at least 3 years of experience leading a learning team, or being a lead learning designer.
- The successful applicant will ideally come from a learning or training focussed company and/or have experience from a corporate environment.
- Has experience in an education and/or professional development setting.
- Strong analytical skills with strength in using data to inform learning solution design and the setting of key priorities.
- Excellent people skills, capable of managing the needs of a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, in addition to high performing subject matter experts and teams.
- Demonstrable experience of creating streamlined, efficient, and robust design workflows balancing urgency of the need and quality of product.
- Experience working with modern LMS platforms, both from a design and administration perspective.
- Experience in business partnering or as a learning consultant, working closely with operational teams to deliver bespoke and relevant learning solutions.
- Places impact and value as a high priority in all they do – ensuring all learning solutions are needs-driven.
- Has strong workload management skills and is capable of handling a diverse variety of projects as part of a wider pipeline of activity.
- Is confident and competent in making prioritisation decisions when required.
