A local authority offering educational roles is seeking a permanent Learning Facilitator to support students in achieving their potential in a nurturing school environment. The role involves working closely with teaching staff and assisting in the planning cycle, providing critical support during pupil's learning processes. Ideal candidates should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with strong numeracy and literacy skills. This position is term-time only, with a salary range of £22,791 - £24,842.
Learning Facilitator - Permanent
Hours: 33.67 hours per week, Term Time only - 39 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 5 £22791 - £24842 + Sen Allowance pro rata
The role of the Learning Facilitator is key to the success of our school. Working closely under the guidance of teaching staff you will work with individuals and groups of pupils in or out of the classroom including the provision of detailed and specialist skills/knowledge in particular areas. In addition, as a Learning Facilitator, you have the opportunity to assist the teacher in the whole planning cycle and supervise whole classes or groups during the short-term absence of a teacher. The role is hugely important in helping our pupils strive for success, overcome their personal challenges, and achieve their potential. It is therefore not only challenging and hard work but also immensely rewarding.
