Job description

An exciting opportunity is available for recent graduates* and postgraduate students at the University of Chester to apply for the role of Learning Facilitator for the Nursing Programme (Faculty of Health, Medicine & Society) (Ref: LFHMS006).

You should be a registered nurse or hold another relevant registered health professional qualification such as Art Therapy, or have a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a similar subject area. We are particularly interested in candidates with postgraduate qualifications for this position.

The Learning Facilitator will collaborate with academic staff to support the delivery of online lectures, facilitate small group seminars, simulation and skills sessions, tutorials both online and on campus, and help maximize student engagement, achievement, and progression.

Successful candidates will possess an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area and must undertake a short training course before starting the role.

*Students in their 4th year of the Integrated Masters in Nursing Programme who have completed all requirements of their 1st field and a minimum of 2,300 practice hours are also eligible to apply.
