Learning Facilitation Manager
£55K-£60K Basic Salary
We are seeking an experienced people manager and lead learning facilitator to join a dedicated Learning & Development Facilitator team. This role will suit someone with a strong background in leadership, management, and behavioural learning, who has a proven track record in delivering impactful leadership development programmes and managing high-performing teams. The successful candidate will bring passion for learning, excellent facilitation skills, and the ability to inspire and develop others.
Travel to South Wales office 1 x a week.
Responsibilities
- Line manage, coach, and support a team of learning facilitators.
- Plan and allocate workload, ensuring the delivery of the organisation's learning needs.
- Ensure processes and systems are fit for purpose, driving successful learning delivery.
- Propose and implement innovative delivery methods, processes, and technologies.
- Report regularly on progress against agreed objectives
- Collaborate with the L&D management team and key stakeholders to ensure learning provision meets business outcomes.
- Support the ILM centre with marking and quality control, as required.
- Deliver engaging and effective learning sessions with measurable outcomes.
Skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and challenge.
- Excellent facilitation skills across multiple delivery methods (face-to-face, virtual, podcasts, video).
- In-depth knowledge of adult education and learning methodologies.
- Effective coaching skills, with knowledge of coaching methodologies to maximise potential.
- Strong consultancy skills, able to advise the business on learning solutions aligned to strategy.
- Data-driven, with the ability to use feedback and analytics to improve learning delivery.
- Collaborative, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement.
- Ability to evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills at all levels.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' professional L&D facilitation experience.
- Proven experience managing a team, ideally of facilitators.
- Track record of delivering leadership, management, and behavioural learning programmes.
- Experience working with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting accredited programmes (e.g. ILM).
- Desirable: practitioner experience with tools such as Myers Briggs, Insights, Facet 5, DISC, or Korn Ferry Leadership.
Qualifications / Education
- Desirable: ILM Level 7 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent experience).
- Additional relevant L&D accreditations or practitioner certifications are advantageous.
