Summary

Based in the CTL’s Educational Technology Team, this role involves creating and implementing innovative educational resources for STEM disciplines. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and building engaging digital learning materials such as interactives, videos, and other media. The role collaborates with academics to develop outstanding learning experiences aligned with CTL’s digital education objectives.

Secondary duties include assisting in the administration and development of existing products, notably Mobius, an online assessment tool for STEM.

Success requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, project management abilities, and creativity. The role contributes to shaping STEM education through technology-driven, engaging learning experiences.

Main Duties

  • Develop educational media in collaboration with academics, ensuring tailored learning experiences.
  • Use online and blended learning methodologies to design and deliver learning experiences.
  • Utilize tools like Canvas VLE for creating online courses and lab experiences.
  • Create and update learning objects and course content with input from subject experts.
  • Coordinate with content development specialists to produce high-quality learning activities.
  • Manage the Möbius worksheet bank, responding to queries and making updates.
  • Support the EdTech Intern scheme and maintain accessibility standards.
  • Contribute to new resource development and participate in related projects.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and sustainability in the work environment.
