Job Role: Learning Disability Support Worker
Service: Supported Living , Sandy Lane
Requirement : Full Valid UK driving Licence as you will be driving the Residents Disability Vehicles.
What is 'Sleep in care'
For the sleep ins you will always have your own bed with clean bedding in a private area 'Sleep-in care' is when a professional carer sleeps in your home during the night (for a minimum of 8 hours) so that they can be woken up quickly to respond to any unforeseen needs that you may have during the night. With sleep-in care it is expected that the carer may not need to be woken at all. Within the 32 hours you will be expected to work 1 shifts for 24 hours for E.g. 10am-11pm SLEEP then 7am-10am.
