Job summary

An established education recruiter is seeking a Learning Disability School Support Staff to assist children with various additional needs and disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with disabilities, personal care knowledge, and a friendly approach. You'll support pupils daily, impacting their education positively. Qualifications

• Experience working with people with disabilities, learning difficulties, and medical/care needs.
• Knowledge of personal care and medical support.
• Approachable and confident personality.

Responsibilities

• Support children with a wide range of additional needs and disabilities.
• Assist pupils with hearing, visual impairments, and communication needs.
• Work as part of a team to ensure pupils’ safety and inclusion.

The Job…

Working to support children with a wide range of additional needs and disabilities, including MLD, PMLD, and Autism (ASC)- your days will be diverse and busy! As an extra helping hand in the classroom, you'll be supporting pupils with hearing and visual impairments, communication needs, medical and physical needs, and speech and communication requirements!
