Qualifications

• Essential: Working towards or willing to undertake a Higher Degree (MSc) in a related subject.
• Essential: Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities) with current NMC registration.
• Desirable: Master’s degree in a relevant subject area and PGCertHE or HEA Fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in teaching and supervision of students in School and practice learning environments.
• Provide pastoral and academic advice and support to individual students as their personal tutor.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programmes on a regular basis.
• Participate in exams/assessments: set questions, mark papers, act as examiner.
• Monitor student performance and provide feedback and guidance.
• Promote bilingualism, inclusion and person-centred education within programmes.
