An exciting opportunity for a registered professional to join the Learning Disability Crisis Response and Intensive Support Team as a Band 6 practitioner. Candidates will manage complex caseloads and work in a supportive team environment to provide critical services to individuals with learning disabilities in the community. This role requires flexibility in working hours and collaboration within a specialist team.
We have an exciting opportunity within the team for two registered professionals to join the Learning Disability Crisis Response and Intensive Support Team as a Band 6 practitioner—one post at 37.5 hours a week and another at 22.5 hours, or two posts at 30 hours each.
The team provides a service from Monday to Sunday, 8am-9pm, including bank holidays, based at the Agnes Unit. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to discuss flexible working patterns within these hours.
You will manage your own caseload and work within a specialist team comprising nurses, healthcare support workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychiatry, and Psychology, with input from allied health professionals, as part of the wider Learning Disability Service.
This team provides support, clinical assessments, interventions, and risk management for individuals with learning disabilities at risk of inpatient admission or community placement breakdown.
Support is delivered through Positive Behavioural Support and intensive support for individuals with mental health needs and a learning disability diagnosis.
The service covers Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. A full driving license and access to a vehicle insured for work purposes are required.
