JOB ROLE: Learning Disabilities Support Worker

LOCATION: Coalville LE67

PAY RATE: £12.60-£13.30 per hour, £78.30 Per Sleep in (10PM-8AM)

HOURS: 42 hours + 2 sleeps

SHIFTS: 08:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00, 08:00-22:00 and 22:00 - 08:00


Due to continued growth, we are seeking Full Time Support Workers to join our AMAZING supportive team at Hugglescote in Coalville.


About Hugglescote:

Hugglescote is a small 3-bed residential home supporting young adults with a range of learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and challenging behavior on a 2-1 or 1-1 basis.

Joining our team at Hugglescote will be fulfilling and rewarding, offering you stability with the opportunity to grow and develop your career further. Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as Support Workers and, through ongoing training and coaching, are continuing to move further up the career ladder!


As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service, including:

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching, and development.
