Job summary

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a part-time Registered Learning Disability Nurse (24 hours) to join our home and enhance the existing nursing team. You will work with the multidisciplinary team to improve the lives of residents with profound learning disabilities and complex healthcare needs.

Qualifications

• Evidence of good time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Trust policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage daily operations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Part III or 13 of NMC live register.
• Willingness to undertake mentorship training and responsibilities.
• Degree/diploma in Learning Disabilities or Adult nurses.
• Be on the live register for mentors.
• Evidence of current CPD/formal qualifications at an advanced level (e.g., degree or postgraduate level).

Responsibilities

• As part of the clinical team, the working hours are 07:00 to 19:30, with night shifts 19:00 to 07:30.
• We will consider flexible working arrangements to support both you and the home.
• There is a wealth of training available to support you in delivering high-quality clinical nursing care.
