Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Band 7 Learning Disabilities post based in Birmingham. The role supports the Learning Disability Services Leadership Team and is a 12-month, full-time fixed-term contract, with a salary of £49,387 to £56,515 per annum.

The post holder will drive evidence-based practice, manage a multidisciplinary team, and take lead responsibility for first line management within the service, reporting to the Business Unit Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Clinical degree and post registration qualification in relevant area.
• HCPC or NMC Registration.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development including post graduate courses.
• Post graduate qualification in healthcare management or equivalent experience.
• Leadership Qualification.
• Knowledge of Finance.

Responsibilities

• Direct management responsibility for a multi-disciplinary team.
• Budgetary responsibility and cost improvement programmes around £2.4 million.
• Lead first line management and co-ordination of multidisciplinary Community Learning Disability Teams.
• Represent clinical professions across Learning Disabilities locality based services.
