Contract: Full-Time, 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: While ideally based in the East of the UK, the role requires regular national travel to support training delivery across multiple locations.
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 + (£4,000 company car allowance)

We are seeking an
L&D Trainer to play a pivotal part in delivering operational training needs throughout the Dignity Group.
Working with our colleagues, you'll help design and implement our Operational People framework ensuring colleagues have the right skills and competence in their roles to deliver exceptional client service and understand their regulatory responsibilities.
There's lots to do so you'll need to have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working cross-functionally in teams.
This role will focus on delivering world-class training initiatives in which you be involved in:
- Organisational projects to help understand the scope of development intervention where needed.
- Design of highly engaging and effective development solutions that achieve the desired outcomes.
- Training delivery will be blended - combining classroom-based sessions, virtual delivery, facilitation, and effective use of LMS platforms and digital tools.
- Drive and support a professional learning & development culture that moves the business forward to improve the learner experience underpinned by Dignity's guiding principles.
- Measure and monitor the effectiveness of learning programmes, training activities, practices and processes to ensure an appropriate return on the investment.
- Delivers training that supports compliance, regulation, quality, and standards and delivers standard operating procedures across the Group.
- Designs and delivers induction programmes in partnership with operational teams to ensure new colleagues are supported from day one.
Must haves we're looking for this role:
- Full UK Driving License (Essential).
- Passionate about the quality care of the deceased.
- Experience in funeral operations and/or crematoria with good operational and commercial awareness is adventageous.
- Experience with LMS platforms or e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Kallidus, Articulate, Rise) would be an advantage.
- Has strong coaching skills and a passion for helping others grow and develop.
- Credible, authentic, influential, engaging, and effective in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Proactive and highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
- Can demonstrate an inclusive mindset with proven ability to be able to effectively influence others.
