We're looking for a Learning & Development Manager to lead impactful learning initiatives across Harneys Fiduciary's global network. With offices across Asia, Europe and Americas in this 12-month fixed-term role, you'll design and deliver learning experiences that empower all our people - from onboarding to leadership. You'll work with stakeholders across the business to build capability, close skills gaps, and support growth at every level.

Who will you work with?
You'll be part of the Human Resources Team reporting directly into the Chief Human Resources Officer with colleagues around the globe who see this role as a program/project manager for crucial learning initiatives globally. You'll have the autonomy to collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and implement learning programmes that support the firm's commitment to developing a culture of learning and a strong talent pipeline.
What will you be doing?
Curriculum Design & Programme Delivery
• Design, coordinate, and deliver learning and development programmes to enhance employee skills and overall business performance.
• Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with stakeholders and external providers to develop content that supports soft skills and business competencies across all departments.
Talent Development
• Partner with managers and subject matter experts to create learning solutions aligned with the company's strategic goals.
• Assess global learning needs through surveys, interviews, and stakeholder consultations.
• Identify skill gaps and develop targeted development plans.
• Develop departmental learning plans and report progress on learning initiatives regularly.
Facilitation & Learning Support
• Coordinate and deliver induction and other training sessions as needed.
• Develop learning outlines and select appropriate instructional methods.
• Support facilitator identification and maintain accurate attendance and communication records.
• Collaborate with content specialists to ensure quality and relevance of learning materials.
Learning Evaluation & Technology
• Assist in the preparation of course descriptions and training outlines.
• Support delivery tools including LMS, e-learning, videos, and course materials.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and analyse feedback to recommend improvements.
• Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies to enhance learning impact.
• Perform administrative tasks required to document and deliver training programmes.
Project Management
• Lead the development, management, and implementation of global learning initiatives.
• Oversee curriculum design to ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout programme delivery.
What do I need for success in this role?
• Minimum 5 years' experience in instructional design, talent development, or adult learning; job learning program experience preferred.
• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
• Proficient in various learning delivery methods (classroom, one-on-one, online, webinars, e-learning), with strong ability to match methods to learner needs.
• Skilled in learning technologies (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate 360) and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate across all levels.
• Experience in a global professional services environment is a plus.
• Proven ability to deliver L&D programmes on time and within budget.
• Ability to work flexibly across time zones, supporting all jurisdictions, and managing business demands for upskilling.
• Demonstrates initiative, strong project management, organisational, analytical, and listening skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Maintains accurate learning attendance records and drafts staff communications to raise awareness of learning initiatives.
This role is hybrid with 2 days per week working in our London office located near to Bank station.
