What this role is all about:
A Vitality Learning and Development Consultant (Distribution) designs and delivers world class training to our sales teams, with a focus on innovation and impact. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented learning and development consultant to join a vibrant and innovative brand at an exciting time in our journey.
Key Actions
- We want you to inspire and equip our sales teams to achieve outstanding results. This covers many areas, such as relationship and influencing skills, comprehensive product knowledge, personal growth, systems, and compliance
- You have a passion for high quality, consultative sales and the force for good this can be
- You are comfortable with a multi-product environment and working closely with key stakeholders, in a fast-paced environment of continual change
- You can make the complex accessible, compelling, and memorable, displaying outstanding communication skills, storytelling, and adapting to different audiences.
- You apply blended learning effectively, with a strong understanding of how different mediums and formats can influence outcomes.
- Your approach to technology shows initiative and independence, continually striving to enhance your abilities and output
- You will ensure that your learning interventions meet an agreed framework for governance and quality, but you also constructively challenge the status quo wherever you see the potential for improvement
- You deliver strong project management, combining organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to retain sight of the bigger picture
- You contribute to the production of supporting materials, including reviewing existing materials, always striving for accuracy, quality, and great outcomes
What do you need to thrive?
Essential
- You have experience of delivering inductions and training programmes for sales professionals
- You have proven experience in delivering memorable presentations and content, with a high level of initiative in research, design, and delivery, and the ability to facilitate great discussions for an effective learning experience
Desirable
- Experience in designing and delivering training for relationship building, influence, sales process, soft skills, and other professional development
- Proven experience in delivering digital learning, using software such as PowerPoint, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia or similar
- You have delivered successful training in a financial services sales environment, especially within health and protection insurance
- Experience of achieving your own sales success in a financial services environment
- Experience of an intermediated sales environment within financial services
