As aLearning & Development Coach, you'll be a key part of our Training & Apprenticeship Team, supporting learners across a range of leadership programmes. You’ll deliver both face-to-face and online learning, provide individual coaching, and help apprentices achieve their qualifications on time and to a high standard — all while contributing to our future leadership pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach and support apprentices across our leadership programmes to ensure timely and successful completion.
Deliver high-quality training sessions (online and in-person) that engage, challenge and support learner development.
Provide constructive, real-time feedback and coaching in live environments with managers and senior leaders.
Set clear objectives and targets with learners, keeping detailed records in line with quality and compliance standards.
Collaborate with the design team to share feedback and support ongoing improvement of content and delivery.
Support a wide range of subject areas, including leadership, cultural change, sales, negotiation, and personal development.
Participate in standardisation and best-practice meetings, staying up to date with industry requirements and CPD.
This is a dynamic and people-focused role requiring energy, adaptability, and the confidence to challenge and support learners across all levels of the business.
The successful candidate will likely be out delivering workshops nationally, which may include overnight stays, or conducting branch visits and manager meetings around 4-6 days a month.
Candidate applying must hold a valid driving licence.
You’ll also have:
Preferred but not essential a recognised coaching or training qualification (A1 Assessor, PTTLS or Adult Supporter).
Experience coaching in live environments, ideally with managers and senior stakeholders.
Strong facilitation skills and the ability to lead engaging workshops.
Excellent communication and feedback skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
Setting, developing and achieving targets.
Experience of working in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Preferred experience and knowledge of safeguarding, PREVENT, equality & diversity.
Occupational experience in the area of apprenticeship delivery. E.g. Management, retail/merchanting.
Flexibility to travel nationally to different sites as required(must hold a valid driving licence)
