A leading charity in the UK is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to support the administration of training events and enhance team performance. This home-based role involves close collaboration with team members across the UK, ensuring effective communication and organization of learning activities. The candidate will play a crucial role in promoting professional development and managing logistical tasks in a dynamic environment.

22.5 hours per week
£25,579 per annum pro rata
Fixed term contract – 9 months (possible extension to 12 months)

We have an exciting career development opportunity from August/September this year working to support the administration of training events and to keep everything running efficiently across the team.
Working alongside the full time Learning and Development Coordinator you will be juggling priorities and demands of a busy day to day role with lots of variation in tasks and close teamworking to share and prioritise tasks.
Our team work remotely from home and are based all over the UK. You will always feel connected because we have plenty of work and social meetings online each week and aim to hold in person team meetings approximately every other month (your travel will be funded for this).

• Organising a schedule of learning activities using our Learning Management System (LMS), zoom and calendars
• Liaising with trainers and venues to book learning events
• Managing bookings and recording attendance on individual learning records
• Sharing course information pre and post learning events
• Processing applications for apprenticeships
• Supporting our ED&I and Wellbeing programmes and the networks
• Preparing basic data reports using templates and sharing these with key stakeholders
• Promoting courses via a range of communications channels to increase bookings and attendance
• Managing the shared email account for the learning team, answering basic queries from customers and escalating to colleagues where needed
• Preparing purchase orders, processing invoices and maintaining an up-to-date records of transactions and commitments
• Ordering stationary, equipment and supplies for the team
About you:
• You will need excellent communication skills and be confident to build relationships and connect with others inside and outside of your team. The role is busy each day and working from home remotely you will need to have great organisational skills to manage a wide range of tasks and maintain efficient systems and processes.
• Sometimes if there is a big event – the ability to re-prioritise your workload and chip in together to get the job done is essential.
• For this role you will need to be confident in using a range of IT systems, managing spreadsheets and keeping digital folders of documents organised and up to date. Experience of working in a learning and development or HR environment, using an LMS and administration of finance would be an advantage.
