Job description

Learning and Development Advisor

Salary – £30,000 plus car allowance

Location – Field based

We are looking for a Learning and Development Advisor reporting into the Head of Learning Pathways. The purpose of this role is to support the coordination and delivery of impactful learning experiences across our business, with a focus on career pathway programmes and induction journeys.

This role is ideal for someone taking their first step into Learning & Development. This role will be combining hands-on facilitation with practical coordination to help grow confidence, skills and performance across our teams. You’ll play a key role in bringing our learning pathways to life, whether that’s welcoming new team members through their first induction session, helping managers or partners navigate their next career step, or ensuring learning activities run smoothly across the business.

Key Attributes & Responsibilities:

  • Learning delivery & facilitation deliver engaging and interactive learning sessions, both virtually and in person, for new starters and front-line career pathways.
  • Support more experienced facilitators with session preparation and co-facilitation to build personal delivery confidence and experience.
  • Create safe, inclusive learning environments that reflect our values and support different learning styles.
  • Produce regular reports and insights on learner engagement, completion, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of workshops, venues, and facilitator availability.
  • Act as the first point of contact for learner queries and manage shared inboxes.
  • Collaborate with Learning Designers, Specialists and Leads to ensure smooth delivery of learning content.
  • Support the evaluation of learning pathways using models such as Kirkpatrick and 70:20:10.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning Pathways and the learner experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Confident communicator with a passion for training delivery
  • Confident using learning management systems and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive, learner-focused mindset with a passion for development
