You will be responsible for
  • Creating a great learning environment to support colleagues and managers to build the capability of themselves and their teams.
  • Managing the delivery of the learning curriculum by focusing on delivering the right products to the right audience at the right time.
  • Facilitating face-to-face and virtual learning sessions for colleagues and managers using coaching and facilitation skills to identify learning needs and styles, offering feedback and support.
  • Evaluating learning to ensure we can measure the return on investment to colleagues, the customers, and the business.
  • Communicating in a simple but effective way to stakeholders on the learning offer to support their area of the business and ensure effective deployment.
  • Continuously looking for ways to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicating with lead learning managers and capability designers to provide feedback on the existing learning offer to support the future of the product.
  • Working effectively with peers to ensure consistency of the learning experience across Channels and Office.
  • Ensuring colleagues have a Warm Welcome to Tesco induction while encouraging a self-serve learning environment.
You will need
  • Coaching and strong learning delivery experience across a variety of formats and levels.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the latest learning trends and how people learn.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Manager/Leadership roles.
  • Proven understanding of diversity and inclusion challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience in learning delivery across all colleague & management levels.
  • Diversity and Inclusion experience.
  • Strong facilitation and excellent communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate and communicate beyond your own team/function.
  • Ability to balance high-level perspective with pragmatic approach.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and learning delivery methods.
