The role

The Learning Content Developer is a key role in the learning transformation journey within the Talent & Performance and wider people teams.

The Talent & Performance Team are in an exciting period of evolution as we enhance our learning offering. The role is key to delivering and achieving our vision of a blended learning experience for colleagues. The Learning Content Developer will take ownership of their work and be creative to generate existing design concepts and translate their ideas into engaging learning products that produce results.

This role is part of People and Strategy where you'll help us to build a culture and brand that people want to be part of.

This is a fixed term contract position to start as soon as possible with an anticipated end date of 31 March 2026.

What you'll achieve

  • Create and produce engaging digital and face to face learning solutions.
  • Creative responsibility for blended learning projects and content delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders to recommend and develop creative digital and blending learning solutions to support the performance and skills develop of our colleagues.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the development and use of learning content practices and approaches.
  • Contract with stakeholders and SMEs on concept, design and content scope to create a storyboard, agree connect and SLAs to deliver projects on time.
  • Ensure digital and blended learning content is up to date and compliance with sector demands and business processes/requirements.
  • Collect, review and analyse feedback to make improvements and continuously develop content and design.
  • Work with other learning team members to support delivery on learning and development projects.
  • Project manage learning concepts from inception through to implementation.

What you'll bring

Essential skills

  • Competent in the creation of digital learning content.
  • Experienced with learning creation tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Suite.
  • Proven learning design and delivery experience in a blended learning capacity.
  • Requisite creative digital design and delivery skills in content creation and development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital learning models and methods.
  • Understanding and experience of project management principles.

Desirable skills

  • Working knowledge on the use and implementation of LXP and LMS systems.
  • Video and audio creation and editing skills.
  • Digital design qualifications.
