A community-focused hub in Alnwick is seeking a Cafe Manager to lead a team in providing professional customer-oriented services, including food and drink preparation and event support. Ideal candidates will have experience in catering and supervisory roles, along with knowledge of food safety standards. This fixed-term position offers various benefits including annual leave and pension enrollment.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cafe Manager to join the Community Hubs Team at Alnwick Community Hub.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for directing a team of Community Hub Support Assistants, apprentices, and learners to provide a professional, customer-oriented Cafe, Event, and Bar service. This includes preparing and serving food and drinks, operating a traditional barista-style coffee machine, supporting events such as buffets and meals, bar service, managing cash controls including banking, ordering, and stock taking, and maintaining cleanliness.
The Learning Cafe Manager will also support weddings, special events, and corporate hospitality within the community hub.
