Learning Business Partner

  • 9 month FTC with potential extension
  • Salary: Up to £70,000, potentially £75,000
  • Hybrid working: 2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days at home

Oakleaf Partnership is representing a leading Financial Services firm with a strong reputation. They seek a Learning Business Partner responsible for designing and delivering learning development solutions across the business. Working in a collaborative environment and managing a small team, you will focus on Talent, Development, Management/Leadership development, and apprenticeship qualifications. Collaboration with the D&I team will also be essential to meet objectives. This diverse role allows you to leverage your experience to add tangible value.

Role Responsibilities

Managing a small team and working closely with HR and Senior Business Managers, you will ensure learning objectives align with business needs. Responsibilities include conducting learning needs analysis, designing and delivering blended learning solutions, managing entry-level and Talent programmes, partnering with the D&I Lead, and evaluating programme effectiveness. You will also identify coaching and mentoring needs, track professional qualifications, and research best practices.

Skills & Experience
  • Experience as an L&D Manager/Business Partner within Financial Services
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Psychometric accreditation is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of effective learning and development methods and current trends
  • Experience across the full learning cycle: needs analysis, design, delivery, evaluation
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to influence across business areas and management levels
