Salary: £11,254.46 - £11,949.50 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Job Description

Rephad Primary School is seeking a Learning Assistant - Pupil Equity Funding position, starting from 19/08/2025 until 18/08/2026. The role involves supporting the school in raising attainment through nurturing support, working 17.5 hours per week, during term time.

The successful candidate will support pupils with diverse additional needs, including learning, medical, social, and emotional needs, following the duties outlined in the job description.

Applicants must be educated to SCQF Level 4 or equivalent, with skills in Numeracy and Literacy, and have experience working with children or young people. Willingness to undertake training is required. Experience with children with additional support needs is preferred.

This position may be suitable for secondment; applicants must seek approval from their line manager before applying.

This role is classified as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will need to join or update their PVG Scheme prior to employment.

Applicants with residence outside the UK within the last 5 years will need to provide a police record check from the relevant authorities in their country of residence.
