Learning Support Assistant
Pro rata of £24,598 per annum, for details on the pro rata salary, see attached job description (page 6)
Up to 32 hours per week, 36 weeks per year
Role Overview: As a Learning Assistant, you will support students requiring additional help with their programmes of study across various areas within College, creating positive relationships with them and assisting them in a classroom or workshop setting. This includes students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural, and mobility needs. Your work will ensure our students have a rewarding and fulfilling experience at college.
Qualifications and Skills: Experience working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities, effective organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. A GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade C/4 or above is essential.
