The Vacancy

Are you experienced in facilitating and delivering engaging learning and organisational development programmes to customers, colleagues, and managers?

We are excited to announce a new vacancy to join the Learning & Organisational Development Team (LOD Team) at Platform Housing Group. We are looking for a LOD Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

We have several key projects supporting our objectives to deliver our Colleague Strategy and a cultural transformation. We need to expand the LOD team and are seeking inspirational people to help set colleagues, teams, and the organisation up for success.

You will work within a strategic, future-focused, proactive, highly valued Learning & Organisational Development (LOD) Team, responsible for enabling a culture of continuous learning, unlocking potential, managing talent, developing management and leadership capability, and embedding our values and behaviours into our Platform DNA.

This is an exciting and varied role where you will support the Design & Delivery team, L&OD Business Partners, and Line Managers in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, developing our people and talent, and helping shape our future as a great, safe, and compliant place to work.

Some requirements from you:

  • Experience in facilitating and delivering learning in face-to-face, blended, and digital environments
  • Experience in managing participation, attitudes, and behaviours to achieve learning objectives
  • Ability to build trust and sound relationships with customers, learners, and colleagues
  • Proficient communication skills, including active listening, influencing, negotiating, and professional conversation at all levels
  • Ability to develop successful business relationships across departments and an understanding of customer experience in L&OD
  • Resilience and capability to represent L&OD as an agent of change
  • Consultative and hands-on approach to developing and scheduling learning activities

This role is home-based but requires travel to offices and other locations for training sessions, including Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, and Central Park, Worcester. Flexibility to meet business needs is essential.
