Job summary

Historic England invites applications for a Learning and Development Specialist. The role supports the design, development and implementation of engaging learning solutions across our organisation, working on multiple projects in a hybrid environment.

You will manage learning projects, develop eLearning content, and facilitate sessions, collaborating with the L&D Manager to deliver impactful learning experiences for colleagues nationwide.

This is a full time, permanent position.

The location of this role is either Newcastle, York, Manchester, Birmingham, Swindon, Bristol, Portsmouth (Fort Cumberland) or Cambridge, inclusive with hybrid working.

What you will be doing

As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation of engaging learning solutions that support business performance and colleague development. This role combines learning project management, digital content creation, and facilitation to ensure high-quality learning experiences are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Working with the Learning and Development Manager, you will need to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, developing eLearning using Articulate Rise, leveraging Microsoft and AI technologies, and facilitating learning interventions where required.
