Learning & Development Specialist | Chichester | West Sussex | Salary: £40,000-45,000 | Plus Benefits

We are on the search for a creative and proactive Learning & Development Specialist to join our People team in Chichester, West Sussex. You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging training content for our manager population, as well as providing general training sessions for our colleagues at all levels across the business. You'll also play a key role in driving forward wellbeing & diversity training through learning programs. This is an on-site role which will require some flexibility working across our manufacturing sites and central head office.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation & Development: Design and curate dynamic, interactive training content that caters to both managers and operations staff.
  2. Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging, proactive training sessions, ensuring that they are tailored to the needs of managers and other employees across the organisation.
  3. Engagement & Interaction: Deliver training in a way that fosters interaction, discussion, and active participation, using a variety of methods such as presentations, group exercises, and multimedia tools.
  4. Wellbeing & Diversity Initiatives: Collaborate with HR and other departments to incorporate wellbeing activities and diversity-driven content into the learning programs.
  5. Continuous Feedback & Improvement: Collect feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of training and continuously refine content and delivery methods.
  6. Ad-hoc Support: Assist with various Learning & Development projects and initiatives, including onboarding, leadership development, and any other employee development activities as required.

Skills & Experience required

  1. Experience designing and delivering engaging training sessions, especially for managerial audiences.
  2. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage participants at different levels.
  3. Creative approach to content creation and training delivery, ensuring a dynamic and interactive experience.
  4. Knowledge of wellbeing initiatives and how to incorporate them into training programs.
  5. Understanding of diversity and inclusion and the ability to promote these values through learning and development activities.
  6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  7. Experience conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is a plus, but not required.
  8. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
