Qualifications

Job description

Are you ready to bring your drive and passion for Learning and Development to make a real impact in a transformative, engaged and values-led business? You will be working under an inspiring People Director and alongside an enthusiastic and committed HR team of 7. The business has gone through significant transformation over the last 4 years, and this role presents an exciting opportunity to deliver the Learning and Development strategy to create empowered and performing teams. You will be instrumental in developing people capability in the business, through strategic partnership with Stakeholders, identifying Talent and growing Talent to support succession planning.

This Learning and Development partner role offers Hybrid working and flexible start/leave times.

As a Learning and Development partner, some responsibilities will include:

  1. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the operational needs of the business to work with Department managers, supporting them to identify skills and learning needs. Completing gap analysis through reviewing current competency levels and looking ahead to future business requirements, innovation, and educational opportunities.
  2. Work with the Human Resources Partner and Department managers to identify talent within the business. Create competency-based Personal Development Plans to inspire, stretch and grow talent to support succession planning and talent management. Reviewing outcomes for success.
  3. Monitor the learning and development budget, in line with the delivery of the annual learning and development plan.
  4. Ensure that statutory requirements for competency are maintained and met across the organisation.
  5. Report on the performance of L&D to Managers.
  6. Be an active member of a cross-functional team, working as part of a matrix structure within the project environment.
  7. Champion Brand and be an ambassador for the Company and their values.

You will have:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent learning and development qualification.
  • Proven experience of managing Apprenticeships and Graduate schemes.
  • Experience in analysing development needs, designing and delivering and evaluating projects.
  • Ideally, experience of working in a fast-paced, diverse sector similar to manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, engineering, etc.
