Learning & Development Partner
Location Coverage: North England, e.g., Manchester, Oldham, Wigan, Sheffield
Salary: £31,000.00 PA
Car Allowance: £3,700.00 PA
Hours: 39 per week

We seek a passionate learning & development partner to support adults with mental health illnesses, learning disabilities, and autism.

Purpose of the role
To design and deliver training for employees, ensuring compliance with health and social care standards and regulations. The role involves supporting a blended learning approach and contributing to its design.

Training will include, but is not limited to:

  • Induction
  • Active support
  • Safeguarding adults and children
  • Moving and transferring people
  • Fire safety
  • Maybo (positive approaches to behaviour)
  • Mental Capacity Act
  • Emergency first aid at work
  • Understanding autism
  • Learning disability awareness
  • Mental health and well-being
  • Augmentative and alternative communication
Role & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the learning and development team to design and deliver training.
  • Ensure smooth training operations, including organization, presentation, and administration.
  • Manage assessment and evaluation processes, producing reports and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate training records using the Learning Management System.
  • Communicate effectively with service providers to meet their needs.
  • Stay updated on legislation and registration requirements.
  • Lead in a specific area of learning and development, championing best practices.
  • Research and disseminate updates in the field.
  • Work with external agencies to ensure best practices.
  • Produce reports related to the area of responsibility.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and promote equality and diversity.
  • Support colleagues and managers through Train the Trainer programs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the L&D group.
