A regional fire and rescue service in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Learning and Development Officer to enhance employee training and professional development. The ideal candidate will design and evaluate leadership programs, support staff growth, and lead coaching initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Support employees to identify professional, vocational and leadership development needs across the Service.
Design, deliver and evaluate engaging learning and leadership development programmes.
Provide expert feedback using diagnostic tools.
Lead and coordinate coaching programmes.
Produce reports on the impact of learning initiatives.
Act as a Programme Lead and Trainer for leadership and management programmes.
Provide professional advice and coaching to support learning objectives.
Experience/Qualification
Level 5 in Leadership and Management, Coaching and Mentoring or equivalent professional experience.
Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in designing and delivery leadership and management initiatives.
Skilled facilitator and coach.
Experience in managing developmental programmes and interventions.
Able to evaluate learning and provide continuous improvement.
Experienced communicator.
Knowledge of learning and development theories and their practical application.
