This newly created Learning and Development Manager (Adult Services) position will provide leadership and build capacity in the delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive programme of learning and development for our adult social work services workforce. In this role you will also work to an agreed Adult Support and Protection (ASP) multi-agency Learning and Development plan, reporting to the ASP Learning and Development Sub-group and ASP Committee on the implementation of the plan.

You will collaborate with the Learning and Development Manager (Children & Families) to provide integrated workforce development opportunities that support learning across the lifespan. You will work in collaboration with HSCP services and our Team Managers to ensure learning and development plans reflect priorities, are responsive to need and offer best value.

We are looking for a qualified Social Worker who must hold a degree/diploma or equivalent qualification in Social Work, such as CQSW or CSW. You must also be registered or in the process of registering with the Scottish Social Services Council. This post is exempt under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
