Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and evaluate employee development plans and programs to support organisational needs such as competency development, management development, talent management, succession planning, technical or non-technical training, or e-learning.
  • Monitor employee development and training programs, assess needs, develop new programs and modify existing programs.
  • Deliver internal learning and development programs.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of all learning and development activities and, where necessary, modify the programs to ensure that needs are fully met.
  • Ensure apprentice programs are properly managed.
  • Manage Educational Assistance applications.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in all onboarding activities.
  • Lead all aspects of the talent management life cycle.
Qualifications:
  • CIPD Qualified to level five or above.
  • Experience operating in a learning and development, generalist Human Resource role in a manufacturing/engineering environment is preferable.
  • Good coaching, negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • A passion for learning and development.
  • Highly motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
