Job Description:

We are excited to be searching for a Learning and Development Manager to join the People Team at Gaucho Restaurants. The role is multifaceted, involving creating and delivering projects at all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify training needs, create tailored training plans, and implement training methods to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, manage budgets, and stay updated on training trends.
  • Develop and roll out a company-wide learning platform, and coordinate LAB and post-LAB training courses.
  • Assess company needs through collaboration with Heads of Departments and deliver bespoke development packages.
  • Support the organization of the annual training calendar and the Gaucho L.A.B induction program.
  • Assist with new restaurant openings, regional training, and coordinate with finance for training activity costs.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise the training team, providing ongoing support and development.
The successful candidate:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a training role, with exposure to multiple departments at a multi-site level.
  • Strong LMS management and content creation experience.
  • Proven coaching and role-modeling skills; integrity is key.
  • Training qualification and/or CIPD membership preferred.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry training materials.

This role requires working 5 days a week at Gaucho Head Office in Oxford Circus, London, with some travel to regional and London restaurants. Experience in Learning & Development within hospitality is essential.
