Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our Learning and Development team in Thetford.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires an individual who is enthusiastic about instructing and committed to supporting 2 Sister Food Group employees through inductions and continuous development. If you can lead a practical subject, we can use your skills.

The hours of work are Wednesday - Sunday 0600 - 1400.
The rate of pay is £16.81 per hour

Please note: The interview process will include a short presentation to showcase your relevant experience to date and how you will demonstrate and utlise this within the L&D Instructor role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver instructional content in a clear and effective manner, ensuring comprehension among all students. To provide the necessary support, to enable the employee to reach Customer and Company standards.
• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Ensure all signed training records are passed to the relevant departments when requested.
• To maintain adequate training records for auditing purposes.
• Creating ad hoc training package to support 2 SFG training needs.
• Stay updated on educational trends and methodologies to continuously improve teaching strategies.

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• IT literate with good typing skills and confidence in using a range of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Time management skills and the ability to priorities their workload effectively along with good customer service skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues
• Able to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively
• Qualified in the follow would be advantages but, not essential as we will invest in the right candidate; First Aid, food safety lvl 3 and lvl 3 in education and training.
